Opportunity Analyst – Geology

We are looking for an Opportunity Analyst to support the evaluation of our partner’s resource and assessment of its suitability for the application of our technology, requiring significant ore body knowledge and understanding. The Opportunity Analyst will provide ongoing support during the subsequent viability and deployment studies of our technology at our partner sites. This includes an ongoing assessment of further drilling requirements to increase confidence in the resource estimate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Opportunity Assessment Manager, you will:

· Support all viability and deployment studies with your advanced ore body knowledge and understanding of typical copper porphyry and other geological copper systems.

· Work with the partner geology team to develop and advanced understanding of the project geology and potential risks and benefits for our application.

· Guide the evaluation team in the understanding of complex issues in specialized areas based on existing understanding of these ore bodies and potential solutions and procedures.

· Collaborate with RTX and RTC Technical Group geologists to identify and review ore bodies and geological formations for potential our applications

· Collaborate with RTX and RTC Technical Group geologists to review and validate resource estimates generate by our partners

· Collaborate with the relevant Finance Business Partner and Business Analyst to help prepare business proposals and presentation pack for project assessments and approvals

· Collaborate with the Chief Geo metallurgist to select the optimum samples for our test programs, focusing on ore variability and representativeness

· Support and help manage relationships with especially the partner geology teams during the viability and deployment study phases of our projects.

Minimum Requirements

· A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.

· A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, majoring in Geology or Geoscience

· Resource estimation and evaluation experience

· Proven experience in cross-functional stakeholder management

· A minimum of 15 years of experience Resource Evaluation, Exploration or Mine Geology

· Ability to work in multi-functional and multi-disciplinary teams and deliver measurable outcomes

· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization and external vendors and stakeholders
